Precious stones have an exceptional beauty, rarity and longevity. But hard as they are, they still require particular attention and care. Keep your gemstones safe from knocks and impacts of any kind, this is especially important for emeralds, which are much more delicate than most other gemstones.

With the exception of emeralds, precious stones can be cleaned from time to time in lukewarm, soapy (pH-neutral) water. Dirt can be carefully removed with a very soft toothbrush. After cleaning, rinse the gemstone well under room temperature running water, and dry it gently with a soft cloth.
